A rejuvenated Watford could find themselves out of the relegation zone on Sunday with three points at Bournemouth and other results going their way.
The Cherries are completely out of form, taking just four points from their last nine Premier League matches and scored just twice in the last five. Victory for the visitors would move them above Eddie Howe’s side and Aston Villa, before the Villans host Manchester City later in the day.
Nigel Pearson has got Watford playing football again – taking 10 points from his five matches in charge, compared to nine in the first 16 games without him to start the season.
The Hornets look tighter at the back, whilst Troy Deeney and Ismaila Sarr have found some form in attack under the new manager.
Callum Wilson is without a goal in 13 Premier League appearances for Bournemouth and Dominic Solanke has just one in his 49 career Premier League appearances. The Cherries may have to rely on Ryan Fraser and Harry Wilson down the wings but even they are out of form too.
The bookmakers aren’t sure what to expect from this game but I was expecting Watford to at least be the slight favourites. There’s good value on an away win in this one.
