A rematch of one of this season’s FA Cup semi-finals when Watford came from behind to eliminate Wolverhampton Wanderers in extra-time to book a fixture at Wembley Stadium next month.
These two teams are also battling for a seventh place finish which is currently held by Wolves following their 3-2 win at Arsenal midweek.
24 hours earlier Watford fought back to draw 1-1 with a last minute equaliser at home to Southampton, who had scored after a Premier League record seven seconds.
Neither side will be holding back in this one with both Everton and Leicester City also in the hunt for that seventh place. And both teams to have both been scoring and conceding at will lately so we should have an entertaining game at Vicarage Road this weekend.
Watford could have their minds already thinking about the FA Cup final so it’s a little surprising that their odds are shorter than Wolves’, but we’re looking at the goals category for a value bet in this game.
